Birmingham, Alabama is the home of the UAB Blazers.  Birmingham is also the home of a few famous venues in the South.  Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center, commonly called BJCC, is located there.  And perhaps the most famous college football field in all of the World is located in Birmingham, the legendary Legion Field.  Legion Field is the current home of the UAB football team, but also once was the host of Alabama Crimson Tide home football games.  But Alabama stopped playing home football games at Legion Field in 2003.
