In spite of a tough 21st century so far, the Chicago Blackhawks have had a blazing start to their 2007 season. With newcomer Patrick Kane and veteran Robert Lang taking the lead, the Chicago Blackhawks are fighting to take the lead in their division, get a playoff berth and shock the nation with a strong post-season performance. The Chicago Blackhawks would remain a playoff team throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s. In the 1990’s Jeremy Roenick, Chis Chelios, and Ed Belfour would be the ones to lead the team to the conference finals. The Chicago Blackhawks has shown spotty performance since, but appears to be starting a turnaround. The Chicago Blackhawks play their home games at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The United Center seats over 20,000 spectators and boasts that it’s the largest in size if not capacity in the US. The arena was also designed to acoustically amplify the crowd noise into a roar.
