The GMAC Bowl is a college football post-season bowl game played in Mobile, Alabama. The game, played at Ladd Peebles Stadium in Mobile, is the last bowl game before the BCS Championship. Played since 1999, the game was formerly called the Mobile Alabama Bowl until GMAC became the game’s sponsor in 2001. One team from the Conference-USA is pitted against a team from either the Mid-American Conference (MAC) or Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
The GMAC Bowl has built a reputation on great competition and close games.
