Looks as though Xavier is the team to beat yet again this year, thanks to players like junior Derrick Brown.  Head Coach Sean Miller and his Musketeer team look poised to make a deep run this season, and should secure a spot at the NCAA Tournament if all goes smoothly.  Look to Derrick Brown to really be a team leader this season, and get your tickets early to see one of the top contenders in college basketball!

The Xavier Musketeers have proven a very successful basketball program over the years, appearing the NCAA Tournament 19 times.  They have also made two appearances in the Elite Eight, and are the only non-BCS school to be listed among the top-20 most valuable basketball programs in the nation.  Alumni Tyrone Hill, Derek Strong and many others have gone on to play in the NBA.

The Xavier Musketeers play basketball at the Cintas Center arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.  The arena opened its doors in 2000, and currently seats 10,250 fans.  The facility is Xavier's fifth home site.
