Gator Bowl Tickets

T he #20 Northwestern Wildcats will take on Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl at EverBank Field in Jacksonville on New Year's Day. The Wildcats had a five-game win streak to start of the season, and ended the season with two consecutive wins against Michigan State and Indiana before being selected to go to northern Florida. Mississippi State also began the season well, winning its first seven games before dropping a contest to #1 Alabama. They'll count on junior QB Tyler Russell to lead the Bulldogs out of the gate and try to put up early points on a good Northwestern defense.

Ticket demand will be high for the Gator Bowl as it usually is, both squads have loyal fan bases and college football and New Year’s is always a good mix!

Tailgate at Billy's Place While driving to the Gator Bowl the cops made the car in front of us turn left away from the stadium, upset at first we had to go further away but we ended up tail gating at the coolest place that had bid trees for shade, grass, room to toss a football, and a garage that was converted into a small bar called Billy's Place. Bathrooms were clean and lots of big screens, tables, a pool table, ping pong, etc.. What a great place, wish I lived in Jacksonville so I could use this gem over and over. 932 Albert Street about .5mi walk to stadium. We lost bad but I still had a great time. January 3, 2011
First Ohio State Football game Only way my experience could have been better is if Ohio State won. A friend and I drove up from Port St Lucie the day of the game and got there early enough to hit the Bud Light tailgate party. Wasn't all that great, but for $10 it wasn't bad either. The food was great, beer was cold and people were just milling around. No fights broke out(not even close) and the seats in the stadium were AWESOME. My only complaint was I don't think the city of Jacksonville itself was equipped for the after-game crowd. We stayed at the Omni Hotel and when we went to get a bite to eat that evening in the Jacksonville Square(or whatever it is down there) the lines at all the sports bars were LONG. January 4, 2012
TicketCity Comes Through You guys really came through for me for Gator Bowl tickets. I originally ordered 2, one for me and one for my son, but found out 4 days later that my daughter was going to be free to go and wanted to surprise her with a ticket for Christmas as well. The ticket agent I spoke with worked very diligently to get me a ticket just 4 rows behind them, and being field-level and close, this was an incredible feat. Thanks TicketCity! January 4, 2012
if it's true If it is true that my msu Spartans are playing in the gator bowl this year, then this will be the first time since college I might get to see them play in person...not too shabby! December 4, 2011
