New Orleans Bowl Preview History

2012 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Game Preview:
Played every year since 2001, the New Orleans Bowl takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl in mid-December and this year will pit the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns against the East Carolina Pirates. Both ECU and Louisiana-Lafayette are looking for their 9th win of the season, and the Ragin Cajuns have the extra incentive of playing close to home. The scene in downtown New Orleans is always fun and exciting, adding a little football to the fray will make it a great experience for any college football fan. 

2011 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Game Preview:
The New Orleans Bowl kicks off on the first day of the 2011-2012 bowl season, Saturday, December 17th. The 2011 New Orleans Bowl matches up the San Diego State Aztecs and the Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana-Lafayette.  The Aztecs finished 8-4 in the Mountain West conference, while the Ragin Cajuns put up an 8-4 record in the Sun Belt conference.

2009 New Orleans Bowl Game Preview:
The 2009 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl is being played in New Orleans at the Superdome on December 20th. The 2009 New Orleans Bowl matches the Southern Miss Golden Eagles against the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders.

2008 New Orleans Bowl Game Preview:
The 2008 New Orleans Bowl game will be played at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Historic New Orleans is going to be filled with football fans this December, and if you have never visited the city recently ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, you will be surprised to find that there is still plenty to see and do in the jazz and blues haven. Get your college football postseason on and come to see the Troy Trojans and Southern Miss Golden Eagles in the 2008 New Orleans Bowl.
