2010 Rose Bowl Game Preview:
The 2009 Rose Bowl will matchup two powerhouse football programs in what is sure to be one of the best bowl games. The Big 10 Champion Ohio State Buckeyes will face the Pac 10 Champion, the Oregon Ducks in Pasadena on January 1st. The Buckeyes will be led by Head Coach Jim Tressel and talented quarterback Terrel Pryor. The Ducks return to the Rose Bowl after defeating their Pac 10 rival, the Oregon State Beavers. Oregon Head Coach Chip Kelly brings a high powered offense down to California that is led by running back LaMichael James and quarterback Jeremiah Masoli. The 2009 Rose Bowl will feature two great teams looking to cap off great seasons with a win in Pasadena.

This is the “Grandaddy of them All.” In terms of college football games, the Rose Bowl is the oldest, and the grandest. Penn State and USC will face off at the 2009 Rose Bowl game. These two teams come from storied beginnings, and are a perfect pairing for the 2008-2009 bowl season. Both teams were one victory away from playing in the national championship, and the Trojans will be making their fourth straight trip to Pasadena. This game is going to be the second most exciting bowl game to watch this year, just behind the BCS National Championship.
