2015 ACC Tournament Bracket Information

The ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament bracket has long been one of college basketball’s most competitive brackets come March. The ACC Tournament has garnered such a prestigious reputation from featuring a bracket full of some of the NCAA’s most iconic team’s like Duke, North Carolina, Miami, and Virginia. The ACC Tournament bracket took on a transformation following the Hurricanes win in 2013 with a conference expansion to 15-teams that included Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and Notre Dame. Adding even more luster to the tournaments reputation, Louisville replaced Maryland in 2014 to make the ACC bracket stronger than ever for future ACC Tournaments.

After the conference expansions the ACC Tournament bracket went from a 12-team to a 15-team single elimination structure. Along with 3 new teams, the bracket added a fifth day of play and an additional bye-round for the top 4 seeds breaking the tournament up into 5 rounds that feature an opening day and 6 sessions. Opening day kicks off the tournament with the 6 low seeds and is the only ACC Tournament ticket that features 3 games. Sessions 1-4 make up the second round and quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament and feature games 4-11. The final 2 sessions of the ACC Tournament include the semifinals (session 5) and the championship game (session 6).
