As of the 2013 season the Duke Blue Devils have won four NCAA championships making them the fifth all-time greatest program in college basketball. The first of the four came in 1991 against the Kansas Jayhawks. Duke's #2 seed in the Midwest seemed to stick through the tournament as the Blue Devils blew through their first four games with ease. At the Final Four Duke was up against the West's #1 seed, UNLV, but failed to be fazed by the higher seed moving on to claim their first national title against Kansas. The following year would lead Duke down a similar road as they defeated Michigan in the Finals to take home back to back championships.

During the next 7 years Duke would continue to be a persistent favorite in the NCAA Tournament making it to two championship games. After two shots at their third title the Blue Devils secured number three against the Arizona Wildcats in 2001. Dukes latest championship run came in 2010 when they defeated Butler 61-59 in the NCAA championship game.
