CHARLOTTE 49ers INFORMATION
The Charlotte 49ers basketball program was started in 1965, and since then the 49ers have captured 11 NCAA Tournament berths. Charlotte has 9 conference championships, and have appeared in the Final four once in 1977. College hoops greats including Byron Dinkins, DeMarco Johnson, Melvin Watkins and Cedric Maxwell all contributed their success to the program.
The Charotte 49ers play their home games at the Halton Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina.
