Missouri Tigers 2011-12 Men'sCollege Basketball Preview
For a team with plenty of turnover over the offseason, the Tigers are showing a resilient front. New head coach Frank Haith is looking to take a veteran team that lost their best player in the offseason – senior power forward Laurence Bowers – to the next level.
Whereas their power during the Bowers-era came from the front court, the Tigers’ new plan of attack will come from the back. Guards Michael Dixon, Marcus Denmon, and Kim English (who is a hybrid guard/forward) will look to pick up the slack. English will be the a focal point to make up for the size Bowers takes with him, as will Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, center Ricardo Ratliffe.
