Big East Basketball Tournament Tickets Information

The Big East Conference was formed in 1979 after seven East Coast schools - the University of Connecticut, St. John's, Georgetown, Providence, Seton Hall, Syracuse and Boston College - came together with the intent of creating a basketball-centric league. The Big East Men's Basketball Tournament began in 1980 and initially shifted between league arenas before settling on its permanent home, Madison Square Garden in 1983. The tourney has grown into the most popular conference championship in men's collegiate basketball and features some of the best teams in the U.S.

The Big East went through a major transformation in 2013, dropping a lot of teams that ended up in the ACC and new American Athletic Conference while keeping the Catholic 7 core. The Big East now consists of Butler, Creighton, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, St. John’s, Villanova and Xavier. It’s a new conference lineup to bring even more of a sense of community into an already competitive tournament.

Fans attending the Big East Tournament buy tickets for sessions instead of individual games, so make sure to check this page to find what session your team is playing in. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for Big East Basketball Tournament tickets.

Directly behind the first few courtside rows, these sections are premier seating that will get you a great view of the game. Sections 4-6 and 10-12 are Club sections.

100 Level

Very close to the court without paying for courtside seats. 106-108 and 116-118 are Club sections. The sections with "baseline" or "platinum" are slightly closer than the 100 level sections without it.

200 Level

This is a small level on the baselines, with less than 10 rows in each section. They become the biggest sections along the sidelines, and those called Lower Level Center give you a good view at a reasonable price.

300 Level

This level of seating is called many different things in different areas of the arena, including balcony, chase bridges, and the lounge. It's the highest level in MSG.

400 Level

The 400 Level End is on a baseline, and is actually closer to the court than the 300 level seating behind it. This is an affordable place to sit where you won't miss a second of the action.

easy and efficient this was an easy and very efficient way to get tickets I would do it again March 16, 2015
Awesome transaction! Great experiences with Ticket City! 2 nights in a row we needed tickets for a tournament game and ticket city had the best prices and the best seats available! Because the purchases were last minute, the other ticket places wanted me to go to a center in the city to pick up tickets. Ticket city allowed me to download and print them within an hour! I am very happy with my Ticket City experience, and will definitely use them again in the future! March 15, 2015
