UTEP MINERS TEAM FACTS:

The UTEP Miners are famous for having won the 1966 NCAA Division I Basketball Tournament with an all black team starting lineup.  At the time, the school was still named Texas Western, and would not become UTEP until several years later.  The 1966 Champions were coached by Don Haskins.
