2011-2012 TCU Horned Frogs College Basketball Preview:
Last season, the TCU Horned Frogs finished with a disappointing losing record at 13-19, falling to 5-11 against other teams in the Mountain West Conference overall. However, the squad is expected to turn things around in the 2011-12 season with new faces and fresh ambition.
On offense, the TCU Horned Frogs have shown slight signs of improvement. Jarvis Ray, Amric Fields and Hank Thorns have all further developed their skills, making them better shooters and bigger assets to the team for the upcoming season.
Defensively, the Horned Frogs may also be able to step up their game with players such as Cheick Kone, Nate Butler and J.R. Cadot. These players are not only talented blockers, but their aggressive style may bring something to the team that was missing last season.
Although the Horned Frogs are unlikely to make an astonishing run toward March Madness, their improvements still make them a worthwhile team to watch. TCU may be one of the biggest spoilers as the season rolls on and more teams are forced to bring all they've got to the court against the Horned Frogs.

The TCU Horned Frogs have played basketball since 1908. Initially the team played in the Southwest Conference, but have since moved to the Mountain West Conference since the break-up of the Southwest Conference in 1996. TCU has appeared in the NCAA Tournament 6 times and the NIT tournament 6 times. Currently the team plays at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum on the TCU campus.
