Then there are the hardcore college basketball fans will travel thousands of miles to see their team play NCAA Tourney games, many who will be there in-person at every game their school plays. That ravenous fan support is not just from the blue-blood schools like Kansas and Kentucky, but also from smaller schools who have strong fan support. The Tournament begins with the First Four games in Dayton, Ohio. Then the 64 teams are divided evenly into four regions for the 1st & 2nd Round NCAA Tourney games, which are divided up among eight host cities. Teams that win two games will reach the Sweet 16.
The Regional Finals are split into the East Regional, West Regional, South Regional, and Midwest Regional. The NCAA Regional games include the Sweet Sixteen and the Elite 8 games, which decide which four teams advance to the Final Four. Tickets may be purchased as "all session" passes to both the Sweet Sixteen (session one) and the Elite Eight (session two), or bought for individual session.
The culmination of March Madness is the Final Four, where the four remaining teams play to decide the 2024 National Champion in Men's college basketball. Men's NCAA Tournament Field
The 68 teams that participate in the 2024 Men's NCAA Tournament are picked by a selection committee, or can earn an automatic berth by winning their conference tournament. The winning teams from the ACC Tourney, Atlantic 10 Tourney, Big 12 Tourney, Big East Tournament, Big Ten Tourney, Mountain West Tournament, Pac-12 Tournament, SEC Tournament, WCC Tourney and more earn an automatic bid to the Big Dance. The rest of the field is selected by the committee; then all of the teams are seeded and given their location in the bracket. There are four regions for the Men's NCAA Tournament: East, West, Midwest and South. The selection committee is suppose to consider proximity to the tournament locations for schools they place there, but they also have to balance out making sure conference teams are split among the brackets and the regions are well balanced. In addition to the Men's Tourney, we also have a fantastic selection of tickets available to purchase for the Women's NCAA Tournament.
