NCAA Men's Basketball East Regional
The NCAA East Regional is two-rounds of the NCAA Basketball Tournament. The first session includes two games, and is often referred to as the Sweet Sixteen. The winners of the first two games face off in the Regional Finals, also known as the Elite Eight (or Great Eight). The winner of the NCAA East Regional Final advances to participate in the NCAA Final Four. So winning the NCAA East Regional Tournament is instrumental in winning a National Championship.
