UCLA Bruins Basketball 5 5 1 1
The Wizard of Westwood With the passing of the all-time greatest coach (perhaps in all of sport) John Wooden just a few months ago, UCLA Basketball lost the man who made the program what it is today. But the 11 National Title banners still remain. The court is named after Wooden and his wife Nelle. The aura remains, and Head Coach Ben Howland, perhaps more than any other UCLA successor to Wooden, has completely embraced the tradition. Wooden's footprint has long been on the program and will remain for many years to come. Pauley Pavillion is a place of champions. Step into the building and you can touch, taste, smell, hear, and feel greatness. 2010-2011 is a year for UCLA Basketball which will be dedicated to John Wooden, and appropriately it will be one of Howland's most talented squads since he's been at UCLA. Howland just needs a little John Wooden magic to put it all together and create a Wooden-type winner. August 10, 2010
