The Panthers play their home games at the Petersen Events Center, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. With a capacity of 12,500 loyal fans, “The Pete” is the place to be for all Pittsburgh Panthers basketball games. The student section is known as the “Oakland Zoo” and their enthusiasm and creativity has led “The Pete” to be voted as one of the toughest arenas for visiting teams to play at.
