Edmundson led the Huskies for over 20 years and compiled over 485 wins as the head coach. Washington reached the Elite Eight in 1951 and the Final Four in 1953 under head coach Tippy Dye. Dye spent nine seasons as the head coach of the Huskies. Overall, Washington has made the NCAA Tournament 16 times and reached their lone Final Four in 1953. The Huskies have had success in their conference over the years, compiling an impressive 20 regular season titles. The Huskies play their home games at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion, named after long-time coach Hec Edmundson. The arena is commonly known as Hec Edmundson Pavilion, and sometimes Hec Ed, and is located in Seattle, Washington on the campus of University of Washington. With a capacity of ten thousand screaming fans, Hec Edmundson Pavilion is the place to be for all Washington Huskies basketball games. Does my child need a ticket to attend the game?
Children two and under are admitted free of charge, provided they sit on your lap and do not interfere with other fans' game experience. Children three years of age and over require a ticket to all Husky sports events.
