The Duke Blue Devils enter the 2009 season excited about their chances in the ACC Conference. Duke is coached by Head Coach David Cutcliffe and plays their home games at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham. Duke football is not as famous as the Duke basketball program run by Coach K, but they compete well in a tough conference. Duke went 4-8 in 2008, so there is room to improve heading into 2009.

After firing coach Ted Roof for going 1-11 in 2007, what is certain is that Duke will look to ring in a new era of football for the Blue Devils. The team’s one win over Northwestern in 2007 marked the end of a 22 game losing streak. For a school with such a legendary and successful basketball team, Duke will strive to put their football program back on the map this season. Wallace Wade Stadium will be teeming with Duke fans hoping to glimpse into what the future holds for Blue Devils football.
