2013 Virginia Tech Season Preview
The Virginia Tech Hokies finished 2012 with a winning record, but to many, the season was considered a disappointment. This is a testament to the standard of excellence that Frank Beamer has established since becoming the head coach. The Hokies are hoping the 3-game winning streak to end the season will catapult them into having a strong 2013. The defense will once again be the rock for Virginia Tech as nine starters return to a unit that ranked in the top 20 in the country. Senior quarterback Logan Thomas returns as the signal caller for an offense that will need to play much better in 2013.
The Hokies start the season by playing in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at the Georgia Dome against the defending champions Alabama Crimson Tide. Blacksburg continues to be one of the most difficult places to play in college football and with six home games on the schedule, Lane Stadium will play a huge part in Virginia Tech’s success.

Virginia Tech vs. Virginia
The Commonwealth Cup pits cross-state rivals together in Charlottesville and Balcksburg, where thus far the Hokies hold the all-time lead. Virginia has won only one time since the new millennium, while the emergence of Virginia Tech as a national powerhouse and title contender has made this rivalry more of big brother beating up on little brother than the Cavs would like.

Virginia Tech Hokies Football 2 2
Great Seats, Great Time, Worth the price I love going to the Virginia/Virginia Tech game when the game is played in Blacksburg at Lane Stadium. I loved my college experience at Virginia Tech and its a family tradition the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I had a hard time finding an odd number of seats together and had to pay a little more to get (3) seats in a row but the extra money was well worth it. We seat on the home side at about the 20 yard line and had a great view. This was an amazing experience and I can't wait until the game comes back to Blacksburg. November 29, 2010
VT Football rocks! Virginia Tech football is the best ever! Even if they do not have a winning season, I will always be a loyal fan. I am proud of the effort against FSU last week - what a great game to watch! November 13, 2012
