Arizona State Sun Devils Bowl Game Tickets Information

The Arizona State Sun Devils are a premiere football school that plays in the Pac-12 conference. Despite the tough competition in the Pac-12, Arizona State is able to maintain a general level of success and often challenges some of the best teams in the nation.

Arizona State’s biggest bowl game moments came from their Rose Bowl appearances in 1986 and 1996. The Sun Devils won their first Rose Bowl by upsetting the Michigan Wolverines by a score of 22-15. The Sun Devils second Rose Bowl was a heartbreaking loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Arizona State was poised to win the game and secure a perfect season, but they gave up a late touchdown to the Buckeyes and lost 20-17.

Arizona State University currently has one of the largest campus enrollments of any university in the United States. Needless to say, there isn’t a shortage of Sun Devils fans. The Sun Devils defeated the Navy Midshipmen by the massive margin of 62-28 in the 2012 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. The average ticket price was $99. In 2013, Arizona State played in the Holiday Bowl and lost to an underdog Texas Tech team by the score of 37-23. The average ticket price was $63.

Tickets were good; that's about it The tickets we purchased were appropriate for us. We were up high and on the ND side which was great because it was a very hot game and we at least got a break from the shade from the media tower (Section 213). I am an ASU student and was at the event with my family from South Bend (where I grew up) so I thought to myself "I can't lose right?" Well, I was wrong. I had on a ND shirt and was cursed at my ASU fans, told to go home and change, and mocked, ect. I understand in football there is some smack talking but the way I was treated and how I saw other ND fans treated was classless. I'm embarrassed to be a Sun Devil now. I've been to many sporting events, on the winning and losing side, and have NEVER seen this kind of behavior out of fans. There were no ushers or security, no searches for alcohol which I assume lead up to the behavior I saw/experienced, and when we were leaving the stadium I noticed that the stairs were shaking and concrete had separated to the point of seeing the metal rods that were contained within them. The seating was tight but thankfully most of the people around me either left or roamed around so I was able to stretch out. This being my first experience at a Sun Devil game I can honestly say I will never pay a dime to go there again. As far as being a student; I can only be grateful that I am three classes away from graduation. November 20, 2014
WOW, what a game WOW!! Let me start with this, The support the Sun Devils received from their home town is amazing. The sound system is a plus but seating is a NEGATIVE, the seats that I purchased I thought were good seats being in section 38 row 9 seat 25 and 26, however we were in there cheek to cheek.... Literally. we were practically sitting on each others thighs it was so tight in our row. The row behind us had their knees in our back and our row had our knees in the back of row 8, it may have been that way through out section 38. I think there were WAY too many tickets sold for that particular section OR way too many people out of their sections and in ours! In the 90 degree heat that was the downside, security was called to our section to find out who was out of their seat but that was not much help. It was to crowded for them to go through the rows to get tickets that they just gave up. I've been to college football games before and this by far was the most crowded stadium EVER! As for the game, the 4 touchdowns in the first half were absolutely spectacular, even though I was there for the Fighting Irish I was truly amazed at the way this game was played. Of course I was bummed by the way the Irish played I still had to tip my Leprechaun hat to the Sun Devils, they had a little mishaps in the third quarter but nothing that would not be overcome. They played together as a great team! The defense from that team is astonishing.. the roar of the crowd was all in unison, the choice of music played at the stadium "pumped" the crowed up even more. They rallied together to keep the Irish at bay, and they did so with a great ease. There were some SD fans that were a little obnoxious, but given we were in their hometown I guess it is to be expected. The non obnoxious fans were showing their excitement in a humble way also giving props to the ND fans even when the game was a little closer in score at the 4th quarter, they helped to make it a very great experience. Although the luck of the Irish was not visible in the home stadium of the Arizona Sun Devils, it was an awesome experience for us! GO IRISH! November 10, 2014
ASU's 2011 Season If quarterback Brock Osweiler lives up to expectations, the Sun Devils have a good shot at appearing in the first Pac-12 championship game. I am extremely impressed with the overall team speed of the ASU. I believe it will serve as a true advantage all season long. I see the Sun Devils offense averaging over 35 points per game and the defense living up to it's nasty, aggressive reputation. The schedule lines up well for the Devils. They avoid Washington and Stanford and their only two conference road games are at UCLA and Washington State. A key game will be at Utah in a Pac-12 South Division game. August 27, 2011
