2008 Oklahoma Football Preview:
Head Coach: Bob Stoops
The Oklahoma Sooners are returning in 2008 fresh off of a Big 12 Conference championship. Head Coach Bob Stoops has been pushing all the right buttons in Oklahoma, molding a top-notch team since he signed in 1999. His Sooners have a record of 97-22 over the last ten years, besting every Football Bowl Subdivision school. The Sooners are looking strong heading into the 2008 season, and are aimed to win another Big 12 Conference championship if they play their cards right.
Most notably, the Sooners sport the best offensive line in the country this season, meaning that they are going to get the ball downfield. Sam Bradford, Oklahoma's returning quarterback, is said to be the top signal caller in the country, and again that means the boys from Oklahoma are going to get the ball moving. Although the team plays a tough schedule this year, Bradford and the boys will step up the play, and OU's defense should surprise many to clench those tough games. Get out and see this star team in action!
