2008 Rutgers Football Preview:
Head Coach: Greg Schiano
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team has recently made a break through into the ranks of the elite college football programs in the country. In 2006 head coach Greg Schiano led the team to their first bowl game win in school history and a final ranking of #12 in the nation. The Scarlet Knights followed that up with a solid 7-5 record in 2007, and will be looking improve this year, hoping for a shot at a Big East championship and more. A home game in Piscataway this season will be a rowdy affair as hopes have never been so high for the team and students will show their fevered support.
