2009 Ohio State Football Early Preview:
Head Coach: Jim Tressell
Things look promising in Columbus as the Ohio State Buckeyes head into the 2009 season. Head Coach Jim Tressel will once again have to replace some key players that were part of the foundation of the Buckeyes the last four years. But the Buckeye with the most buzz is returning to OSU, that's talented quarterback Terrelle Pryor. The super Sophomore quarterback can run and pass; Pryor is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. He has Vince Young size and ability, so he's a headache for Big 10 coaches to plan against each and every week. The 2009 Buckeyes hopes of a National Title will rest on the shoulders of the young, talented quarterback.
2008 Ohio State Football Preview:
Head Coach: Jim Tressell
Ohio State returns in 2008 as the reigning Big Ten Conference champions. Although the team lost the BCS championship game to LSU last year, the team is flexing its muscles prior to the 2008 season. Already, the Buckeyes are ranked #2 in the nation heading into the 2008 season. A key factor in how the Ohio State offense will perform this season rests on the shoulders of Todd Boeckman, whose 14 interceptions last year have highlighted his inability to make plays under pressure. The Buckeyes may have a secret weapon in Terrell Pryor, who is touted as the “the greatest college quarterback to have never played a game.”
