The Southern Methodist University Mustangs football program has a rich history and boasts great success in the past. After a tough 2007 season amid rumors of a coaching change, SMU athletics has announced that Phil Bennett will remain head coach and will look to lead the team up the Conference USA ranks and compete for their first C-USA title. Gerald J. Ford Stadium will roar as Mustangs fans try to help push their team to a conference championship and a return to form.
