2015 Georgia Season Preview
2013 saw the end of one of the most successful runs by any quarterback in SEC history. Aaron Murray started 4 seasons for the Bulldogs, recording over 120 touchdowns and throwing for more than 3,000 yards in every season that he played. Despite losing Murray to the NFL Draft, coming into the 2014 season the Bulldogs have every reason to believe they can make the SEC title game, and even the college football playoffs. The reason for this optimism? Todd Gurley. There may not be a more punishing running back in the country, and with an offensive line that boasts 3 upper classmen clearing the way, expect Gurley to have a monster year. Senior quarterback Hutson Mason finally gets his chance to step out of Murray’s shadow and should have the offense mastered. The Dawgs SEC slate doesn’t look as daunting as some other teams and their two key games will be against Florida, and Auburn, both of which are at home. If Mark Richt and company can win those two games, the Bulldogs will have a great chance of winning the SEC East for the 3rd time in 4 years.

The universities were founded over a century apart, but the hate is embedded in everything, including both school’s fight songs. Georgia vs. Auburn
This is the most-played rivalry game in Georgia’s history, making it become known as the “Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry.” The first game was played in 1892 and to the second of this publishing, it’s a dead heat at wins, losses and ties. Both teams are college football powerhouses, and thus the game has had national title implication on the line many times. This is THE game for the hardcore Georgia (or even college football) fan to see in person.
