Kansas State first fielded a football team in 1893, and aside from some good seasons in the 1920's and '30s, including a conference title in 1934, KState was historically one of the worst programs in college football. Bill Snyder's arrival in 1989 changed all that. Snyder's tenure would have the Wildcats win more games in 17 seasons than they'd won in 50 years. The Wildcats would play in 11 bowl games and win 4 Big 12 titles. Some of the talented players to play at Kansas State include Steve Grogan, Mark Simoneau, Martin Gramatica, and Michael Bishop. 2014 Kansas State Season Preview
Bill Snyder has quickly made Kansas State relevant again in the college football world since returning as the head coach of the Wildcats. Coming off back-to-back seasons of double digit victories and a berth in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, Kansas State is hopeful to keep the momentum going after losing key players on both offense and defense including dual-threat quarterback Collin Klein. However, leading rusher John Hubert returns along with the entire offensive line that only allowed 14 sacks in 2012. Chris Harper departs, but the rest of the receiving core will be back including Tyler Lockett, who also makes an impact as a kick returner.
The Wildcats are in a transition phase as they look for a new quarterback, but with Snyder at the helm, the drop off won’t be as significant. After a non-conference schedule the first three weeks of the season, the Wildcats will travel to Texas and Oklahoma State before Baylor, West Virginia, TCU, and Oklahoma come to Kansas State.

Kansas State vs. Kansas
Known as the Sunflower Showdown (for obvious reasons), this game has happened every single year since 1911 – the third-longest uninterrupted series in college football history. K-State has proved to be the victor more often than not since the 90s, but the Wildcats still have some catching up to do to takeover the all-time series, as Kansas won 17 of the first 20 meetings between the two.
Kansas State vs. Iowa State
It’s “Farmageddon” when these two schools meet, and while Iow State has the all-time series advantage, it’s been the Bill Synder-led resurgence of Wildcat football that has K-State winning much more often these days. The 2012 contest between the two in Ames drew the biggest crowd in the history of Iowa State Cyclones football.
Kansas State in the BCS National Championship and Bowl Games
The Kansas State Wildcats play their home games in Manhattan. Manhattan, Kansas that is, and it certainly isn’t the most welcoming home for opponents. The Wildcats have been featured in more than 15 bowl games and have faired quite well once getting there. They can also add to an already imposing three Big 12 Conference Championships since 2003. Ticketcity offers tickets to all college football bowl games and the Big 12 Championship Game.

Kansas State Wildcats Football 2 2
Great Service and Price for KSU football tickets I lived in Austin for a number of years and had dealt with Ticket City before they had such a huge web presence. So, when I had moved and needed tickets for the KSU game which was sold out, I found tickets that were good and below face value. The tickets came a day early and everything worked out great. The tickets actually came to and were delivered to my front door, which is a door I hardly ever use. So, the day that I was expecting the tickets to come, and I did not see them, I called TC and asked about my order. They told me that they had been delivered the day before. I told them that I had not recieved them, but the guy asked if maybe they were left on my front porch or entry area that I typically dont use. Sure enough when I checked, they had been left there the day before. Great service, great prices. December 8, 2012
