The University of Colorado first fielded a football team in 1890. The Buffaloes have won 26 conference titles, one since joining the Big 12. They’ve won 4 Big 12 North Division titles, and one national championship in 1990. The Buffaloes have always been a team that sends outstanding talent to the NFL. The Colorado Buffaloes play their home games at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado. Originally known as Colorado Stadium, the facility was renamed in 1944 after the death of legendary Colorado Coach Fred Folsom, who coached the Buffs between 1895 and 1915. Folsom Field holds almost 54,000 spectators as well as providing a state of the art press box, luxury boxes and suites, and club seating.
