What is the best game day tradition at an Orange home game?
One of the most unique, and unbelievably fun traditions at Syracuse takes place after the game at Varsity Pizza. When the game ends, the marching band heads over to Varsity Pizza and plays a set inside of the restaurant that is always packed wall to wall with Orange fans. This tradition is made even more special after a win, where one of the band members flips the banner of the opposing team upside down to chants of “See Ya.” Yes it is loud inside when the band is playing, but the sheer amount of Orange Pride and jubilation in flipping the banner after a win, makes this tradition one that should be experienced by all Orange fans.
