2015 Oregon State Football:
2015 marks the end of an era for Oregon State Beavers football. The Beavers said goodbye to longtime coach Mike Riley, and welcomed in highly touted Gary Anderson. Anderson’s run first offense should thrive in his first season in Corvallis, with star running back Storm Woods returning for his senior season. Woods should be poised for his best season yet for Oregon State in 2015. Handing Woods the ball will be talented, but young quarterback Seth Collins. The Oregon State offense will benefit from should be one of the top defensive units in the PAC-12, where the Beavers will be especially dangerous up front. Top road games on the 2015 Oregon State Beaver schedule include at Michigan, Arizona, and Oregon. Oregon State will welcome Stanford, UCLA, and Washington to Corvallis in 2015.

2014 Oregon State Football:
The Beavers started the 2013 season off winning 6 of their first 7 games, including 2 Pac-12 road games. Then the wheels fell off and OSU lost their final 5 regular season games, including a 1 point heart breaker to arch-rival Oregon. In the offseason the Beavers lost quarterback Cody Vaz and excellent receiver Brandin Cooks. Even with those departures, Mike Riley will have plenty of talent and experience for 2014. The defensive unit should be one of the toughest on the West Coast, with 7 senior starters headlined by linebackers D.J. Alexander, Jabral Johnson, and Michael Doctor. Sean Mannion will get another chance at leading the offence and junior running back Storm Woods looks to continue as one of the country’s most dangerous ground weapons. As always the biggest game of the year will be the Civil War against Oregon. Other games to look forward to are at Stanford, and at USC.

2013 Oregon State Football:
Mike Riley enters his 13th season as the Oregon State Beavers head coach and owns the most wins in the football programs history. Riley is hoping to build off the 2012 season that saw the team improve in the win total by six games from the previous year. The Beavers return 16 starters from last year, but must settle the quarterback position. Junior QB Sean Mannion and senior Cody Vaz will battle to see who gets the nod when the season starts. Mannion and Vaz shared the duties last year and neither separated from the other during spring workouts. With the quarterback position up for grabs, there is no debate at running back or receiver. Storm Woods averaged nearly 5 yards a carry during his freshman season that saw him reach the endzone 13 times. Junior receiver Brandin Cooks averaged an astonishing 17 yards per catch last year for over 1,100 yards and five touchdowns. The Beavers welcome Stanford and USC to Corvallis, with the season ending at Oregon in the yearly Civil War game.

2011 Oregon State Football:
While rival Oregon was wondering what went wrong during their BCS Title Game loss, the Oregon State Beavers were sitting in Eugene wondering how to get out of a lost season. Coach Mike Riley endured a 5-7 year after being on the precipice of the team’s first Rose Bowl twice in the previous seasons. This year, Riley is looking to put that behind him and chalk 2010 as a bump in the smooth road he’s traveled on so far.

Offensively, Riley is looking to develop quarterback Ryan Katz the same way he did with NFL gunslingers Derek Anderson and Matt Moore. Alas, like a lot of Beavers, Katz’ off-season was spent under the knife so sophomore backup Cody Vaz could see a lot of time under center in 2011. It will be up to whichever quarterback to use the team’s two outstanding wide-outs—Markus Wheaton and James Rodgers—to full capacity and make-up for a running game that is looking to be underwhelming after the loss of Jacquizz Rodgers to the NFL.

Defensive ends Stephen Paea and Gable Miller went along with Rodgers to the NFL, leaving gaping holes in the front line. Riley hopes those holes will be filled by seniors Dominic Glover and Kevin Frahm. If they don’t, star-in-the-making strong-side linebacker Cameron Collins will be waiting. After being moved from safety, Collins is looking to make a name for himself. Since the secondary is little weak after even more surgeries, he may be the bright spot on the defense that will help OSU get back to their winning ways.

2010 Oregon State Football:
Momentum has been building for the Oregon State Beavers football program. The team has played in four consecutive bowl games, finished the season ranked among the top 25 in three of the last four years and tied for second place in the Pac-10 the last two seasons. The Beavers will need an added push if they're to beat out their rivals and defending conference champions, the University of Oregon, for the Pac-10 title and the "Civil War" rivalry game.

But 2010 just might be the year for Oregon State. Running back Jacquizz Rodgers is perhaps the team's most promising talent since Chad Ochocinco left the club in 2001. Rodgers rushed for 1,440 yards and an astounding 21 touchdowns last season. As Rodgers' begins his 2010 campaign, he is already regarded as the Pac-10's leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy. Rodgers will be running behind an O-line fortified by the potential All-Conference center, Alex Linnenkohl. Finally, any team with a kicker like Oregon State's Justin Kahut, who made 22 out of 27 field goals last season, including a 50-yarder, has an edge in close games.

Traditionally, Oregon State will play Oregon in the last week of the season - potentially a decisive game for a conference championship.

2009 Oregon State Football:
Head Coach:
Mike Riley
In 2008 the Oregon State Beavers shocked a lot of people. After a so-so start, the Beavers took the Pac-10 by storm after a huge upset of the USC Trojans. OSU Head Coach Mike Riley might not be able to sneak up on Pac-10 foes in 2009, but his team should be just as good as it was last season. Riley's offense will be powered by the dynamic Rodgers duo, Jacquizz the star RB and James the studly wide receiver. They will be joined by senior quarterback Sean Canfield, who's experience should help the Beavers win tough road games. The Beavers just missed a Rose Bowl berth in 2008 - will 2009 be the year they return to Pasadena?

2008 Oregon State Football:
Head Coach:
Mike Riley
The Oregon State Beavers football team has proven itself to be a comeback squad the last few seasons. The Beavers tend to start their seasons with a few losses, but manage to finish strong and wind up with a bowl bid. Head Coach Mike Riley will look to improve on this next season. If the Beavers can start their seasons the way they end them, they’ll have a real shot at winning the Pac-10 and maybe a Rose Bowl bid. Reser Stadium will be the epicenter of Oregon State’s high hopes this season as the 46,000 strong crowd cheers their team on to conference glory.
