Tickets for the 2024 Beanpot
The Beanpot is the top regular-season college hockey tournaments in the country. Each February it brings together the four major college hockey schools in Boston: BU, BC, Harvard and Northeastern. The strong fan bases from those schools drive a lot of demand for tickets. The tourney typically crowds in excess of 13,500 fans for the Beanpot Final. The tournament is more than just a hockey game, it is often referred to as the "social event of the winter season".
The Beanpot Tourney is a four-game tournament where two schools match up in the first-round (which is set by an annual rotation). Then the two winning teams play each other for the Beanpot championship, while the two first-round losers play in a spirited consolation match. The school that wins the Beanpot championship earns bragging rights in the region for the year ahead.
Beanpot Teams
Each year these four teams fight it out on the ice for the chance to take home the Beanpot trophy. Over 70 years of competition they have all been champions multiple times. The BU Terriers have won the Beanpot the most times.
