Mizzou Arena is an indoor basketball facility on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia, Missouri. Opened in 2004, the arena seats over 15,000 and includes two levels of stands on three sides of the basketball court. Mizzou Arena was originally to be named “Paige Arena” after the daughter of the heiress to the Wal-Mart fortune who had donated generously to the university. When students got wind that Paige had graduated from USC and was accused of cheating her way through school, the naming rights were quickly relinquished back to the school.
