Kings Of Leon Night I had a great night when...I went to see the KOL when they played The Toyota Center. The Ticketcity representative was very helpful and got my ticket ship overnight. I was able to see the King of Leon on floor seating and they sounded great. Their sound amazes me on their albums and hearing them live made me love them even more. The show is a must! The "good" KOL! The word on the street about Kings of Leon is that, on any given night, they can play a really good show or a really lame show. I've seen a couple less-than-enthusiastic performances from them before, but they definitely rocked in Houston a few nights ago! In my opinion, they played the perfect mix of tunes, ranging from mainstream hits like Use Somebody to some of my personal faves like My Party and Black Thumbnail. Their show is a little flashier now that they're a "big deal," but the songs from their earlier albums are as strong as ever. Epic Kings Show Man, aside from this being the best match up I've seen with Kings of Leon (Band of Horses opened), it was their Farewell Concert! These two bands made it their mission to put on the best show possible. My seats were AH-mazing, so I was in perfect view for this rad show. Kings of Leon @ Rexall Place/Edm., AB.-Oct. 1/ 11 Awesome show by an awesome band ! Great energy & musicianship ! Killer songs had the crowd rockin' all nite long. The middle of the floor was a great place to be with everyone dancing up a storm. They did a lenghthy encore which was great also ! Highly recommended.
