Sugarland is one of the most successful country music groups in the genre's history, and was one of the most-played groups on pop and country radio over the 2000s. The band originally featured Jennifer Nettles, Kristian Bush and Kristen Hall, who joined together in 2002, but after three years Hall left the group and Sugarland became one of the most notable duos on the country music circuit. The band's first full-length album, Twice the Speed of Life, would prove to be a breakout hit for the group that netted them the No. 16 spot on the Billboard 200 charts. Riding on the success of the two-song single "Baby Girl/Stand Back Up," Sugarland presented a fresh take on contemporary country music and began to recruit many new fans as their touring schedule picked up.
The band's second album, Enjoy the Ride, became the group's first runaway success and climbed to No. 4 on the charts. The singles "Want To" and "Settlin'" both reached No. 1 on the country music charts and the album would go on to reach multi-platinum status. While original Sugarland founding member Kristen Hall left the group shortly after the release of the record, Sugarland was able to refine their sound as a duo and would soon reach superstar status across America.
The group's third album, Love on the Inside, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 yet again and kicked off the Love on the Inside Tour, one of the highest-grossing tours of 2008 and 2009. The band was nominated for three Grammy Awards and won Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group and Best Country Song.
In 2010, Sugarland once again dominated the country and pop music charts with the release of their fourth album The Incredible Machine. The record would hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 yet again and featured the band's highest-topping single "Stuck Like Glue." The pop hit propelled the band into mainstream radio and helped the album achieve multi-platinum status in a short amount of time.
Sugarland is one of country music's biggest success stories of the 2000s, and the duo shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. With a new album on the horizon and a jam-packed touring schedule, Sugarland looks to remain a fixture in country music for many years to come.

I had an amazing time! I have always enjoyed listening to Sugarland whenever ever it is on the radio and what not so I would not say I am an absolute die hard fan. When my girlfriend wanted me to go see them with her I was not overly excited. However, the concert was AWESOME! I really did not expect to have as good of a time as I did. It by far exceeded my expectations. I am now an avid Sugarland fan!!! September 14, 2011
Would Love to see them! I would love to go see Sugarland! I would take my dad, cause he loves them too! The lead singer has such a unique and original voice, you know it's her on the radio as soon as the song comes on. Their music is fun to sing along to. September 9, 2010
Sugarland was excellent We traveled from Orange County, CA to Bakersfield to see Sugarland. We ended up arriving late so we could not see much of the opening band. Once Sugarland went on it was electric. They cycled through all of their hits. Natalie's energy was just great. It left me wanting more of everything except the ringing in my ears. August 10, 2010
Great show, waaay too short! Sugarland is one of my all time favorite groups. They have amazing songs, and I was really excited to see them for the first time when they were the headliner. While Jennifer Nettles sang her heart out, they only sang for maybe....an hour? If that! The show was way too short, and they didn't even do an encore! We waited in our seats for a few minutes expecting them to come back out, but they never did :( August 10, 2010
