This Ain't My First Rodeo Living in Houston I went to the rodeo a few times and while they had some big name acts come through, the whole event just seemed, well, huge. When I moved to Austin I really appreciated the more intimate setting of Rodeo Austin. With weeks of nonstop events, everyone who's in Austin in March should make some time to head out to the rodeo. And don't miss the final weekend of the rodeo with the Bullet Proof blow out party. There's also a big BBQ cook off and the 100X Club is a great place to go after the main event to kick back with friends. And if there's one event you don't want to miss, it's Muttin Bustin with the little ones holding onto sheep for their dear life, hilarious entertainment. Acts for the rodeo are usually announced in December and tickets go on sale shortly thereafter. Box seats are very affordable and recommended over the bleacher seating. September 3, 2010

The best country music line up! I would say its very hard to choose who to go see at the Star of Texas Rodeo and therefore would recommend becoming a sponsor to get all the tickets to all the concerts and if you cant or don't have time to see a show, gift the tickets and wait to hear how awesome of a time they had. I choose to work the event and pay for the rest of the shows I really want to just enjoy, 100X club parties are great as well.I end up going to so many shows that I should become a life member but its slightly out of my price range. Lastly the 130 Toll make it a breeze to get there! January 4, 2013

First time concert goer I think ticket city is great there are times when I have no clue on who is going to be here's or what's happening in Austin I can always count on a email offering info and great prices ! Its very simple they are very friendly when you pick up your tickets I recently purchased Demi Lovato tickets for my daughter needless to say it was a complete success we had a wonderful time! Very entertaining family experience We went to see the rodeo and Kevin Fowler. The rodeo was very entertaining. It kept moving at a fast pace from one event to another. It was the first time my 11 year old daughter had been and she loved it. The facilities were in very good conditions. The revolving music stage enabled everyone to see the performers. March 29, 2011
