Sasquatch! Music Festival Information:
Location: George, WA.
Venue: The Gorge Amphitheater
Founded: 2002
Dates: Memorial Day Weekend
The Sasquatch! Music Festival took off in 2002 when founder Adam Zacks set out to provide music fans with an experience like no other festival. To do so the festivals location was set in the pun intended city of George, Washington at the highly acclaimed Gorge Amphitheater. The Gorge Amphitheater is carved in to the basalt cliffs that overlook the Columbia River giving the festival that unique setting that can only be found at the Sasquatch!
The festivals recognition has continued to grow year after year featuring artists as big as the music festivals name. Throughout the years Sasquatch! has put an emphasis on indie rock bands and singer-songwriters but due to festivals ever-growing platform lineups have included everything from electronica to underground hip-hop. The main stage shares the name of the festival as Sasquatch! and is accompanied by four more stages; Bigfoot Stage, Banana Shack, Yeti Stage, and the Maine Stage which was added in 2012.
