When Michael Bublé first emerged on the music scene, listeners soon took notice of the Canadian singer's smooth and effortless singing style and his ability to call to mind classic lounge singers like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and many others. Bublé got his start on the Canadian charts, releasing his first self-titled album in 2003, and quickly gained popularity thanks to his pop-infused versions of classic hits like "Moondance," "Fever" and "The Way You Look Tonight." Record producers were initially skeptical about how to promote Bublé's music, but he steadily began to gain prominence throughout the Canadian and American markets.
As Bublé continued promotion of his first album, he released his first Christmas EP in 2004, Let It Snow, which peaked at No. 56 on the Billboard 200 and proved to be a major niche for the singer's talents. In 2005, Bublé released his second studio album, It's Time, which served as the crooner's breakout record. Featuring a series of classic and contemporary singles like "Feeling Good," "Can't Buy Me Love" and "Save the Last Dance for Me," the album jumped to the top spot on the Canadian charts and climbed into the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.
In 2007, Bublé released another high-selling record, Call Me Irresponsible, which boasted the singles "Always on My Mind," "Dream,""I've Got the World on a String" and "Everything," which climbed to No. 46 on the Billboard 100 Songs chart. The album hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and reached double-platinum status in the U.S. Later, in 2009, Bublé released his fourth studio album, Crazy Love, which featured his most recognizable hit, "Haven't Met You Yet," a song that has seen plenty of airtime on pop and adult contemporary stations. With another album set for release in 2013, Michael Bublé's career seems to be just taking off and should have plenty of great moments to come.
