As popular music continues to reinvent itself, when it comes to novelty and innovation, the Black Eyed Peas are ahead of the curve. The Los Angeles-based quartet takes the stage for their concerts much like characters in a play. Sporting zany costumes and taking lengths to amuse the crowd in between loud and aggressive versions of their tunes, the Black Eyed Peas have become one of the most dynamic group of entertainers performing today.
Outfitting themselves with a unique look, the members of the Black Eyed Peas take on a variety of stage personas - all brimming with energy - when they perform. will.i.am, one of the groups' co-founders, can be seen parading around stage spouting lyrics while sporting signature clothing from his own design label.
Fellow member apl.de.ap brings his Filipino heritage to the eclectic group and Taboo has become known for his kung-fu inspired dance moves that he acts out in performances.
But perhaps the most well-known member of the Black Eyed Peas is Stacy Ann Ferguson, better known to fans as Fergie. The singer joined the band in 2003, and is largely credited with helping the Peas go mainstream. With her significant stage presence and cartoonish personality, Fergie is the Black Eyed Pea most likely to be in the spotlight.
The pop-slash-hip-hop group first formed in California in 1995, but starting receiving national attention in 2003, when their third album, Elephunk, raced up the charts. Riding on the popularity of their first worldwide hit, "Where Is the Love," the group has sold about 35 million albums internationally and about 41 million singles.
Since reaching the limelight, the band hasn't looked back. Their song "Shut Up" reached number two on the charts in the UK and went gold or platinum in the U.S. and several countries across Europe.
In 2009, the Black Eyed Peas became one of only 11 artists ever to have the number one and number two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 with their songs "Boom Boom Pow" and "I Gotta Feeling," both off the album The E.N.D.
The group has won a total of six Grammy Awards, including prizes for the best pop and rap performance and a distinction for the best pop vocal album of 2010.
In September 2009, the Black Eyed Peas began The E.N.D. World Tour, bringing them to stages and spotlights in countries including Japan, Australia, France Germany and the United States.

Great Performance! Black-Eyed Peas sure know how to party! I went to their concert in Dallas at the American Airlines Center with my cousins & we had a blast! We were dancing all night! Our seats were not the best (behind the stage), but we did have a side angle view of them. They kept the fans pumped & moving from start to finish. Ludacris was their opening act...can't go wrong with some Luda. I definitely recommend seeing them at a city near you! September 12, 2010
Houston Rodeo Experience This was my first time purchasing tickets from Ticket City and I was pleased with the delivery time for the tickets. I bought tickets to Black Eyed Peas at the Houston Rodeo 2010 which was a sold out show and was very pleased with the seats. My kids had a blast and my best friend was impressed that I actually got tickets. Thanks!! August 10, 2010
Amazing show! I love going to concerts. I've been to a lot of concerts! I was really looking forward to seeing the Black Eyed Peas because I love their music and also because Ludacris was opening up for them. LMFAO was added as a 3rd act at the last minute. I can say witout a doublt this was THE BEST concert I've ever seen. BEP put on an amazing show for over 2 hours. The effects, dancers, sound system everything was A+. The entire place was on its feet dancing for the entire show. I never realized they had so many hits. They did their group stuff but they each had a block of time that they performed songs on their own. Fergie was amazing as always. Ludacis came out during their set and did a few songs with them as well as doing his own show. I would not hesitate going back if/when they come around again. August 10, 2010
