“Bon Jovi Live” World Tour
In February of 2011, Bon Jovi hit the road for a 59-city tour, playing off their Greatest Hits album. The tour started at University Park, went to NYC and Madison Square Garden, twice, Las Vegas and the MGM Grand Arena, Houston at the Toyota Center and landing in Lisbon at the Bela Vista Park in July of 2011. The show had a small hiatus from guitarist Richie Sambora for exhaustion and alcohol issues, but he rejoined and the tour was a commercial success. Songs featured, “Lost Highway,” “Whole Lot Of Leavin” and “Wanted Dead or Alive.”
“Because We Can: The Tour”
The tour started in February 2011 in Washington D.C. and will end in Brisbane, Australia, for a total of 101 stops. It will be in support of their latest album of the same name. The shows will feature large hexagon-shaped video towers that move in and out, a mix of his new songs and his classic hits. No pyrotechnics, just the stage and the boys, and thousands of screaming fans who know how to have fun.
The second half of the tour will kick off in Mexico City on September 28 and then hit the U.S., Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, Staples Center in Los Angeles, with two stops in Texas; San Antonio at the AT&T Center and Dallas at the American Airlines Center in mid-October. They will stop in Canada, Japan and come to an end in Australia.
