Britney Spears Tickets

Over the last two decades, Brittany Spears has grown up in front of the public eye. Born in Mississippi and raised in Louisiana, Brittany started her career at the age of 11, performing in an Off-Broadway show and later on Star Search. In December of 1992, she was cast in The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, where she would be performing alongside several soon to be famous actors and musicians including future boyfriend Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, and Keri Russell.

In 1999, four years after The All-New Mickey Mouse Club was cancelled, 16 year old Brittany Spears exploded into the music scene wearing a skimpy catholic school girl outfit, becoming the fantasy of males and females alike with her single, “…Baby One More Time”, which was nominated for a Grammy and has become one of the bestselling singles of all time. Her second album “Oops…I Did it Again” debuted in May 2000 and with 1.3 million copies purchased and broke SoundScan’s record for the highest debut sales by any solo artist.

Like many young artists, Brittany Spears was still trying to find her niche and discover what kind of artist she would turn out to be. With the release of her third album, Brittany, in 2001, she began to sound a little more grown up, giving a sophisticated sound while remaining true to herself. Shortly after this release, she acted in the panned film Crossroads, which was released in February 2002; however, even though the movie was bad, some critics praised her performance. In addition to all this, Brittany Spears took time to co-write a second literary collaboration piece (the first was a Brittany biography written in 2000 titled Britney Spears' Heart-to-Heart) with her mother, A Mother’s Gift.

After a brief hiatus, Spears returned to the stage with Christina Aguilera and opened the 2003 MTV Music Awards, performing Madonna’s “Like a Virgin”, which concluded with a much talked about kiss between the three of them. In November of 2003, Brittany Spears released the first album where she had a more hands on approach: she co-produced, performed, and wrote all the songs on this album. Just like her other albums, In the Zone, was just that: NPR listed it as one of their "The 50 Most Important Recordings of the Decade", praising her for her pop craftsmanship and it won Spears her first and only Grammy (Best Dance Recording; "Everytime" and "Outrageous"). In June 2008, her sixth album, Circus was released and was loved by fans and critics alike. In 2011, her seventh album Femme Fatale was released and certified platinum by RIAA.
