PARAMORE EXPERIENCE:
Paramore is a pop rock/pop punk/alternative rock band formed in 2002 in Franklin, Tennessee. The group was formed mainly from collaboration between the two main songwriters Hayley Williams and Josh Farro. Paramore has 2 albums and one EP to their credit. They achieved mainstream exposure and success with their most recent album, Riot!.
Singer Hayley Williams was only 13 years old when she moved to Franklin, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville, and met future band mates, the Farro brothers. The original members performed in cover bands together before beginning to write their own material. Paramore released their first album All We Know is Falling Down in 2005 and gained a strong following from touring and promotion via the Internet. Festival shows, a UK Tour, and the Paramore’s appearing on soundtracks and the EA Game The Sims II also helped spread the word.
In 2006, Paramore played its first headlining tour selling out many of their shows. Kerang! Magazine voted them “Best New Band”. NME magazine also voted Paramore as one of the ten bands to watch in 2007. Paramore then began recording their second full-length, Riot!, in January of 2007 and completed it in March.
