The Shell Houston Open is a golf tournament that is played annually in Houston, Texas. The tournament is a PGA event, and features some of the top golfers in world. The Shell Open is currently played at Redstone Golf Club, but in the past has been played at many of the Houston areas best courses. In the early years it was played at Memorial Golf Course, which is a fantastic public course located in the center of the city. Included in the list of winners of the Shell are great golfers like: Byron Nelson, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Curtis Strange, Fred Couples and Vijay Singh.
