Q. Why buy from TicketCity?
A. TicketCity has been in business since 1990 and has served over 200,000 clients. We are a reliable business, in good standing with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).


Q. How secure is information about me?
A. We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you input to prevent theft of your information or identity.


Q. Can I get tickets for events not listed on your website?
A. Yes, we may have tickets for events that are not offered online. Please contact us to request tickets for any event not listed on our website.


Q. Will my seats be together?
A. If you purchased tickets from the same line item, your tickets will be together unless otherwise stated in the notes section.


Q. Does my child need a ticket?
A. Most events require everyone to have a ticket to enter. There may be some exceptions, so check the venue's official policy.


Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards for online purchases including: American Express, Discover, MasterCard & Visa. If you wish to pay with cash, money order or wire us the money, please contact us for assistance. We do not accept checks, pay pal or foreign currency.


Q. Does TicketCity sell gift cards?
A. Yes, TicketCity offers gift cards that can be redeemed toward any tickets we offer for sale. Please visit our Gift Card page for details.


Q. Do I have to pay sales tax?
A. We request tax as required by law. Many events occurring within the State of Texas are subject to the local state sales tax. College sports, fund raisers, and high school sports are exempt from sales tax. Sales tax will be calculated on the checkout screen.


Q: When are orders confirmed?
A: We typically confirm web orders within two (2) business days of when you place your ticket request. The only exception may be during holidays or peak traffic seasons. If you do not receive email confirmation within two (2) business days please contact us.

 


Q. What if I received an error when placing an order online?
A. Please make sure you fill out all of the required fields on our checkout page. There will be a red error message next to any fields that are incorrect or incomplete. Also be sure you are providing the billing address that is on file with your credit card company. If the error persists, please contact us.


Q. Can I cancel my order?
A. Please only order tickets after you are sure that you want them and have read and understood all of TicketCity’s Terms & Conditions. Also make sure the tickets you order are for the correct event and event date. Once an order is placed you cannot cancel your order. If you order incorrectly, if your plans change or if your ability to attend an event changes, you may not change or exchange your tickets..  After an order is placed, we do not provide refunds, cancellations or exchanges. Q. If the event is cancelled or rescheduled, will I get a refund?
A. Details of our Guarantee & Return Policy are listed in our Terms & Conditions.


Q. Will I get a refund for a conditional game that is not played?
A. Yes, we will refund your purchase price, minus shipping, if the game is not played. You will need to submit a refund request form and return the tickets to us within five (5) business days for it to process. An example of a conditional game would be Game 7 of the World Series, if the series is decided in 5 games. Details of our Guarantee & Return Policy are listed in our Terms & Conditions.


Q. What are your shipping rates?
A. Our shipping rates are listed on our Shipping Information page.


Q. Can I change the Shipping Address on my order?
A. Provided the tickets have not already shipped, you may be able to change the shipping address on your order. You may be required to fax us an authorization letter which includes a photocopy of your driver's license and credit card. Please contact us immediately to request a change of shipping address.


Q. When are tickets shipped?
A. Your tickets will be shipped to you via the method you selected as soon as they are available. For online orders tickets are typically shipped within one (1) business day of when your order is confirmed. Tickets for an event several months in the future are likely to ship once your event is closer.


Q. How are tickets shipped?
A. Tickets are shipped via FedEx. Your tickets will be shipped to you via the method you selected as soon as they are physically available to us. FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes, so please provide a physical street address where someone will be available to receive the package. Make sure to include your name and the company name if you are shipping to your business address. If you need delivery to a rural area, verify whether FedEx can deliver in time before ordering.


Q. How can I track my order?
A. To track your order, please sign into your TicketCity account.


Q. What if I received the wrong tickets or incorrect number of tickets?
A. If you believe you received the wrong tickets or quantity of tickets, first check your TicketCity Order Confirmation invoice. See if the tickets listed on the Order Confirmation invoice match what you received. If there still is a problem, please contact us.


Q. Do the listed ticket prices differ from face value?
A. The price you pay for tickets may be substantially higher than face value, which is the price printed on the ticket.


Q. How are tickets priced?
A. Ticket prices are set by our suppliers. Ticket prices are influenced by the supply and demand for an event, so prices are constantly being updated by our suppliers. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.


Q. Where do the tickets offered by TicketCity come from?
A. We offer a reliable and secure resale marketplace for ticket buyers and sellers. TicketCity provides access to tickets through our network of ticket suppliers, which include professional ticket brokers and individual sellers. We do not own all the tickets we offer. The tickets we offer are owned, priced, fulfilled and shipped by the party listing the ticket – which may on occasion include TicketCity. Sellers typically get their tickets from a variety sources including season ticket purchases, purchases from the venue box office and fan clubs.


Q. How do I know how many rows are in each section at a venue?
A. Each venue is unique, so the number of rows varies by location. You can contact the venue directly for details.


Q. What am I allowed and not allowed to bring into the venue?
A. For a list of prohibited items, please check the venue’s official website.


Q. What time does my event start?
A. Event dates and times are listed on most events and printed on the tickets. Start times are always subject to change. It is your responsibility to check with the event sponsor and venue for any possible changes in date and time prior to the event. If you are unable to locate that information, then please contact us.

Q. How do I unsubscribe from TicketCity Ticket Updates or emails?
A. You can opt out of our email subscription any time, just email Unsubscribe@TicketCity.com with your email address, first name and last name.
