Horns Fans Make Their Way to California
January 5, 2010
Longhorn fans are anxiously awaiting Thursday night's BCS National Championship game.
Many have already left town, headed for Pasadena.
Tuesday kicked off the travel crush headed west.
With at least five major airports in the L.A. area, John Wayne International in Orange County may be the furthest from Pasadena, but it is the closest to where the teams are staying.
We didn't have to look hard to find UT fans decked out in burnt orange.
And these are the lucky ones because not only is getting here expensive - seats on planes out of Texas are getting scarce.
KVUE checked with TicketCity, based in Austin, and game ticket prices are coming down. A single seat that was over $1,000 a few weeks ago dropped to over $600 Monday and can now be bought for $525.
