Ticket broker: Bucks’ Penn State, Iowa Games Growing in Popularity

Ohio State University football’s much-touted match against the University of Michigan remains among college football’s most sought-after events, but two other November Buckeyes games are rising in the ranks, according to online ticket broker TicketCity.com.
The Austin-based broker said the Nov. 27 OSU-Michigan game is the third most-popular based on sales and inquiries, each ticket starting at $270 and on average selling for $544. The OSU-Michigan game fell a slot in popularity compared with last week. But Ohio State’s Nov. 20 game at the University of Iowa jumped into the top 10 from 14th last week, the average ticket going for $314. Ohio State’s Pennsylvania State University game Nov. 13 also climbed the ranks, moving to 7th from 9th with the average ticket going for $371.
The most popular college football ticket is the University of Oklahoma’s Oct. 2 match against the University of Texas, tickets for which are selling for $532 on average.
