Alabama and Texas. Two games set for this weekend make the top 25 list despite losses experienced by three of the teams involved in the matchups. Boise State moves to the number four spot in BCS standings and makes their debut on the top 25 list with the in-state rivalry Idaho at Boise State. The Broncos will host the Vandals on their famous blue field on November 14. “Though Boise State has had a solid season, tickets to this particular game are in such great demand due to three factors,” explains Rafael Rivas, Vice President of Sales for TicketCity. “The first factor is their high rank on the newly released BCS standings. Couple that with an in-state rivalry and small capacity venue, tickets for the game skyrocketed over the weekend.” Bronco Stadium can seat up to 34,000 fans leaving many fans searching for tickets. Two games to be played this weekend that made this week’s top 25 include Tennessee at Alabama and Boston College at Notre Dame. Tennessee’s record stands at 3-3 yet Alabama fans are driving the price of tickets up as demand remains high. The same can be said for the Boston College/Notre Dame matchup. “While both teams have suffered losses, a Notre Dame game played in Notre Dame Stadium will always be hot because of the strong traditions associated with the team and school,” concludes Rivas.
