Despite poll shakeups, fans remain loyal and keep ticket costs fairly steady
AUSTIN, TX (BusinessWire – September 27, 2010) The fifth week of football begins with fans still stunned from this past weekend’s games as well as the changes in the polls that ultimately test fan patience and dedication. Some new games join the top 25 list however, the most in-demand games remain fairly steady with rank and ticket prices. The biggest upset surrounds Texas after their surprising loss against unranked UCLA. The Longhorns dropped from number seven in the Associated Press poll to 21. The drop in the polls has caused ticket prices to slightly decrease for this weekend’s matchup against Oklahoma. Average ticket prices for this game are $453, however TicketCity.com has tickets starting at $187. Demand remains steady for the October 16th matchup against Nebraska.
