The final race is the Belmont Stakes, which is held in early June in Elmont, New York at Belmont Park. If a horse has won the first two, this final race is about as dramatic as sports can get.
Of course, a Triple Crown win is exceedingly rare. Only a few horses have done it; most recently Affirmed captured call three in 1978. Whether or not you are lucky enough to witness one of the big three, horse races of all shapes and sizes offer a great sense of excitement and passion.
