Bob Devaney Sports Center is an indoor sports facility on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. The facility includes a multi-purpose arena, an indoor swimming and diving center, and an indoor track and field facility. Formerly known as the Nebraska Sports Complex, the Bob Devaney Sports Center is now named for former Nebraska football coach and athletic director Bob Devaney. Visitors to the Devaney Sports Center leave awed by the size and sophistication of the facility (the track center features one of only 3 hydraulically banked tracks in the nation) and the incredible fan support seen at a Nebraska basketball game or one of the many other events held at the complex. Opened in 1976, Bob Devaney Sports Center is the home of Nebraska Cornhusker men’s and women’s basketball programs, track and field, and swimming teams. The basketball arena has hosted 3 NCAA basketball tournament regionals. Visitors will be drawn to the Husker Hall of Fame and Husker Walk of Fame memorials which depict more than a century of Nebraska athletic history and accomplishments. The Bob Devaney Sports Center holds 13,500 for basketball games. For track and field events, the capacity is 5,000, and for swimming and diving events it holds 1,000 spectators.
